Rob Lohmeier



As a founding principal of the studio, Rob provides a design focus and balance and also shares managing the company‚Äôs operations. Rob has worked with Caroline for over 12  years collaborating on many educational projects across the p-12/higher education spectrum. Together they have transitioned to a studio based design firm. Rob brings over twenty years of experience in the profession of architecture and a passion for the craft of building and the art of finding creative solutions to complex problems.

Rob was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Arizona in 1996. Rob was selected for the Gourly Award for Design excellence by the faculty in 1996. Before settling in Phoenix, Rob worked as project manager and lead designer on a number of complex residential, commercial and industrial projects throughout the state of Arizona. His experience in a design and construction firm has helped shape his detailed approach to Architecture.  Living in the extremes of the arid environment has given him a unique perspective on the technical challenges of working with extreme environmental design.

Rob is a registered architect in the State of Arizona. Upon moving to Phoenix in 1997, Rob expanded his expertise into higher educational, educational, healthcare, senior living and hospitality, while still engaging in residential project types.

Outside the office, Rob enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing recreational activities such as hiking, biking the great outdoors. He regularly volunteers his services within his local community, including Habitat for Humanity Desert Foothills, and helping coach his boys in soccer, baseball, and tree-fort building skills.
